Hi Duncan,

see you often at Dolls Point. Good to hear you are OK. Hope you figure out what happend and your board turns up. It would be a pretty scary incident.

Glad to hear your ok !

A mate of mine was kicked in the head in a fight when we were out years ago and from that point on every five minutes he would ask us what happened to him it was like his short term memory was gone. He had no injuries that we could see just the memory .
Is it possible you had a crash on the water hitting your head having no memory from that point on . You could have body dragged in without your board not remembering you did .
You could have removed your key yourself but then fogot were you put it .
My mate couldn't remember things we told him 2 minutes ago and it lasted for about 15 hours .

Hope you figure it all out what a puzzle!!!

Decades ago when we were young at school we used to knock each other out. First time I saw it I thought it was fake, until I had it done to me. You had a memory lapse after this that varied between people, of momentary to whole morning. We never realised how dangerous this was until (in a different school) there was a lasting repercussion and a warning came out about it. I don't want to go into the method because of the danger, but it is a similar effect to what happens in shallow water blackout during diving. This could be replicated kiting, by exertion (oxygen intake) then hitting (compressing) your chest. Sure your doctor would have considered it.
You may be incredibly lucky that you weren't driving and had an accident. Imagine trying to explain it in court. Hope iit all turns out ok

Surely if you were in an accident or hit over the head there would have been external injuries?
