While the seabreezes may not be joining in everywhere just yet we can advise; with absolute certainty; that the Australian Kite Surfing Season 2009/10 is now officially OPEN.
All memberships which commenced at anytime since October 1st last year have now lapsed.
For ongoing membership and public liability insurance to apply you should re-register for the 2009/10 season now.
Contact your state KSA for details of how to register in your state.
Joining your affiliated state association gives full reciprocal membership rights, through AKSA, to all other state KSA's.
You can find web & email links to all affiliated state organisations on the AKSA website at - www.aksa.com.au

AKSA membership not only protects you and the public but also improves all kiters chances of keeping beach access as free and open as possible everywhere.
It is the smart and responsible thing to do.
At just $65 for a full years membership your white 09/10 harness tag will be the cheapest piece of safety equipment in your kit.
If you have never joined before there is no better time than right NOW.
For a full year of benefits October IS signup time.

NB: Whilst the AKSA board has its sites set on including ALL Australian kiters in single affiliated state organisations there remains two areas which are still serviced by direct registration through AKSA itself. If your local is in far north QLD or NT you can join and enjoy all the benefits of Australia-wide membership via direct enrolment. See the aksa site for details.

LOL. Thanks for that. I was wondering when I was officially allowed to start kiting the new season. I can now officially unpack my 2010 kit and take it out for a spin. Thanks AKSA!
