Half of us saying that it was a crazy day to kite, he should of stayed home, he was stupid for going out when the clouds are that dark. I guarantee you that there are loads of us calling the kettle black... me included. If you have been kiting long enough, and are as addicted as me if there is wind you will get out there regardless of whether it is too strong.
If you are experienced enough this shouldnt happen in the first place. Only an inexperienced rider would put there kite in a loop by accident. He obviously overcorrected and did a major kiteloop after teabagging (or maybe jumping). An experenced rider would have spotted this happenening BEFORE it happened and floated down gently.

I hope the guy is ok, and gets back on the water. People shouldn't make a judgement, who knows, something might have broken to cause the accident. It happens.

Man, do they get morons to right articles. Apparently we use parachutes? Some of the readers comments are fun, trying to sound like they know what they are talking about, and then say "He should have just let go".
Get well soon.

response A - OK, I can uderstand the first time he went airborne and hit the ground, thats when most people would have realized it was a stupid idea. But he hangs on for another ride. WTF?
response B - kites are expensive u know
