Up for grabs in the Buy and Sell section is a brand new Bandit 7 14m kite(s) for just $700

Hmm seems to good to be true!! has anyone had any experience with this seller ?

Seems they are located in America (not sure where??) and are keen to use Western Union ( I have no experience with this)

Wouldn't bother with a 14 mtr bandit , I'd go a 2014 zephyr which he's selling for $850

Good Pickup Lambie lets see who can have some fun with this guy, post results here.

It's not just a Bandit it's a Raptor pro too - brand new full carbon fibre board as well!! So that makes it definite.

Also the text is a bit of a giveaway, lines like "all our product new" screams scam to me.

Just make sure you use your hotmail, gmail etc not your main email. It may be scam to collect your email to spam you to death....

Good point, I have a disposable account dave.spamtrap that I use for this stuff. Can ditch if the spam gets bad.

I am emailing now with "Lanolly Broller" love the name. He claims to be from the US. Has sent me pics taken from this ad.

This guy is pretty bad. Sent a pic of kite in bag with bag slightly open. Excuse was:

Can bring it out in full because its not been paid for , and if i do so no one would want to buy it and it would be seen as used which is don't what that happening.


That's pretty funny, can't open the bag or no-one will buy it

Then he adds this blurb which would be very convincing (not) if I was buying a mobile phone from him. Kite, not so helpful.

I keep asking about the board, he has sent these actual pics of this board bag. Found thru reverse image search, Same floor etc. I'm not sure he knows the difference.

The are a few bargains to be had, my 3 quiver 8 10 12 2014 kites with bar and lines cost me $2750, I deal with a guy who's selling2013 best cabos from $580, these are from reputable dealers and just an example,team and sponsored riders can have kites going really cheap, this one seems suspect as he's selling well below cost,

Hey Laurie, we've found a scammer.

I've played out 64 emails back n forward thru the day, will screenshot tonight and post hopefully. To my sense of humour it's very very funny, he was tearing hair out a few times.

He was offering me a new kite, 155cm raptor board (don't exist), harness, and board bag for $650. Pics were from legit kite shop ads. Most defo a scammer. I have reported to western union now.

He is doing the same thing with outboards and gold detectors on alibaba, and kite ads around the place too.

Classic stuff Dave you have a natural talent

I reckon you should find a dozen or so of these and other types of scammers, give them all the dropbear treatment and put it together in a paperback for the Christmas masses.
You should be making money from a skill likee dat.

It's amazing how the power of greed made that guy hold out for so long.
