So much wind and so much kiting - just not to be on downwinder days it seems.
With HUGE regret we are calling the long downwinder in the light of this easterly change.
Very disappointing. We have a meeting this week where we will review the events schedule to try to compensate for this double cancellation. We really thought we had all bases covered with the introduction of back-up days for all our more casual events. Hasnt helped this time round.
On the brighter side we will, almost certainly, have some really exciting news soon about the WAKSA Xmas party. Keep the weekend of the 20th & 21st of Dec free or be prepared to be disappointed.

Sorry about tomorrow

Yep I sure do, I'm often confuzzled after a night shift.
Xmas party sounds interesting, will wait to hear more as it just so happens I have that weekend off.
As for the downwinder well that was bad luck but I am off the water and will be for at least a month so although I wish you luck if you try again I am quite happy to get easterlies, it was torture watching the local crew all week.

Dear WAKSA
Please stop planning events. My request comes as I feel you or someone with a cruel sense of humour have the dark powers to kill the wind on what ever weekend you have in mind. I was hoping to to get out sometime, the garden is no place to spend a weekend.
Yours sincerely
