Jackpot , yeah nothing like a good face plant and drag to make you glad you took up kiting

I definitely intend to keep at it, I have taken advice from the folks on forum , and already I am starting to improve , still not there yet but the tweaks in technique I have learned is certainly helping , the 14 metre draft is an awesome kite , ( for me at least ) with lots of bar pressure it helps me feel what the kite is doing plus there are no pulleys on the bridles so the steering is very direct . It's a little scary in gusty conditions though as it wants to zip all over the window if you don't keep an eye on it when getting your board on your feet . I had it out in 10 to 15 at yorkeys knob , the other day and I hardly even had to bar in at all to water start , it lifts you just by diving the kite . Can't wait to actually ride it . The 145 hero is good for me too as I find it a lot more stable than the 8 year old second hand naish I was practicing with.
