I teach and train Wing Chun Kung Fu during the week.

When there is no wind I punch my student a lot harder to remove the weeks worth of work stress

At least that is a warm breeze Miss Jessie!

I start to cycle and swim again in winter but still to much toast intake! Me get fet in off-season and people start to call me Rellie.

My friend in Canada had her 1st kiting lesson and then got preggers a month later and no more kiting. 2nd bub is on the way and she is still hanging out to learn to kite. Shoulda stayed in Oz

Tried nephew's ripstick yesterday. Hey no probs - powering up and down the driveway on the 1st go. Came back 10 mins later and nearly broke my frkn ankles/kneck/back on the 2nd go!!

The general consensus from friends is that you can kite till about 6 months, so perhaps your friend could have had a chance! Different story learning though.....

Actually she and her partner did have another couple of seshs but wanted to play it safe as they had been trying for kids for years. She is/was a tops surfer though - so it is a pity she didn't continue with it. Ha ha - at least she never kicked my arse (unlike surfing).

Like a lot of things post kiddies - it is hard enough to get back into doing regular activities let alone start new sports etc. Glad I am a bloke.

Hey peoples,

Here is what i'm into.. Been flying Radio control models since I was about 10.

Here is a vid of a guy that knows how to throw a heli around. I wish I was that good, and could afford to throw them into the ground like the sponsored guys

Enjoy, Chris.

I look for furry seal cubs then club them to death.
Great stress relief.

Try tieing a stick of dynamite to a bunny rabbits tail and see how far it can run before it explodes.[}:)]
Some guys in WA were doing that a few years ago and the rabbit ran straight under his brand new 4 wheel drive.Blew the Sh#t out of his 4x4.

and build up credits with the girlfriend

haha good idea!

Terrible idea. All thats gonna happen is you will get them into a pattern of expectance, then when the windy season rolls in and your nicking off all the time they are going to be even more pissed off than if you had done sweet F A, because they expect so much more.
You cant make up for it all at once, it just doesnt work like that.

^^^ all this I know is true

Can't believe only one other has said sup. You're on the water riding waves on those crystal smooth winter days. And you get fit.

the wind is great for this new sport, gail force I love it!! can also be use in no wind

out yesterday in strong winds on my buggy so so much fun, so fast!!

there are so much to do in winter, I go for night rides on my freelines almost every night even when wet, almost more fun than kitesurfing

Got some nice friends to kite with now, not kiting alone anymore!

I love Winter!!! Bring on the gail force westerlies !!
