What an awesome day.
Woodies really turned it on - couldn't have been better conditions to suit the event. Rock solid breeze all day.
Absolutely 110% props to choicey for the set-out of the bouys. The course was spot-on. Every leg a great balance. Challenging enough but also easy & comfortable not to be too intimidating. I had fun ++++ all the way around.

Same to Nick. A stressful but thoroughly professional preparation and a great diversity of recruited volunteeers so willingly putting in their bit. Well done to you all. Very much a huge team effort pulled together by the head man really well.

Sure to become an annual waksa event. Can only get bigger & bigger and better & better with more & more experience, ideas and feedback.

Ripper day.
But yeah the running sucked - gotta review that. Downwards

When you touched my bottom in save the swimmer, was that intentional?

Oh and Carbine, that back left tyre was 7psi when I filled it, all the others were 10. How did Toby's car go?

It was wicked fun. The leg burning was intense.
Cheers to everyone for setup etc.
Instead of running we could do a bike bushbash.
Cheers to David. If i ever need rescuing I hope you come and get me(he kitelooped the way in)

Great event showcasing the amazing variety and fun that can be had on a kite. I actually enjoyed the 'rescue' section as I had never body dragged anyone around like that before, It was a lot more challenging than I first thought. As for the running section I think this was a great final punch as I felt I was competing in 'The Amazing Race', perhaps schooling some of us that 'cross training' between sessions might pay off! The real downside of the running was puncturing my foot on the gravel and broken car window glass littering the floor.

Supremely worth the effort all the same. Cheers to Nick and all the other volunteers for there efforts and 'putting' back into the sport more than any brand name can ever do.

Props
