Rod tell the tuth--- you are one of the scariest locals at Toowoon, I always **** myself if I arrive and your car is in the carpark and as for free beer ? you were gonna rip my head off if i didnt give you one!!

Well I kited there once, It's a great spot but when I got in the way of one of the locals, he ran straight into me on purpose I reckon, and smashed my arm in three places! I had to have three op's and 9 months out of the water! I tell yah it not worth the effort to go there.

If no one will land your kite,just dump it as close to them as you can !
Scares the crap outa them,and gives them the message !

Yeah that's right! Because I don't live in a 5km radias and I'm not a member, everytime I go there, I have to get signed in by a member. Anyway! This one time at band camp, I snuck into Toowoon without getting signed in, So my punishment was they hooked me up to a black and pink Rebel, in 38knot southerly, and let me go! I fell 15 foot and broke my foot. I wish someone just swore at me instead.

In regards to having tea with my Mrs....Hardly hangman!!!! Their shagging her! It's great for me, I get to go kiting, thank Johny!

Firstly, I am the guy Dave Sorenson helped in bringing in my board after the tangle (incidently the bridle on the Cabrinha snapped.. it didn't deflate) ...THANKS DAVE. I'd also like to Thanks the other bloke that towed me in.. who is a LOCAL.... WHAT A FRIENDLY BUNCH OF BLOKES.

I hadn't ever kited at Toowoon before but Windsurfed there years ago. I normally kite at Birdie beach but it was too strong on this particular day.

Two weeks prior I'd been kiting at Hams (near caves) beach and had no trouble with anybody kiting....

REPECT IS THE KEY... If there are alot of kiters on the water then it is best to avoid handle pass moves etc where you take up alot of room....

ALL US KITERS SHOULD STICK TOGETHER regardless on where we buy our gear and what brands we use.

well it was quiet a day down at toowoon bay
didnt see those two incidents but had an EXTREMELY embarrissing
moment myself where I had to pull my QR and watch my kite sail into the rocks
walked back with my head stooped low! haha

I dont really know whos local and who's not
as I live down at Avoca
but I havent had any probs with the boys up there
theres always someone around to give you a launch

I will start by saying i was there,i saw what happened,now to clear somethings up,1;the reason the grom that was sworn at was worried was not the abuse,,, rather that the guy yelling is one ugly mother ****er,(has been known to scare young children @ animals with a glance),2; Scotty is EVIL
now let`s get back to normal and put **** on the guy who fly`s the doona or how about the guy who on his first go on a bow had to get rescued by the clubbies,or the guy whio is living in his car with his dog (what a loser,) No hang on that me lets just put **** on SCOTTY cause he is a Yank LOL
