I've been thinking of starting a support group.

Holding meetings every weekend (preferably somewhere the bay cannot be seen) where down & out kiters can express their woes to people that do really understand (Unlike those workmates and family members that don't kite).

Alternately:

Rumour has it, someone has a key to the indoor swimming complex... it would make a great venue for after hours winch (kicker/slider) parties.

Who the hell am I kidding...where's my medication

I especially like this bit :

Now that sounds like one nifty toy.

Hey junglist,

what's real depressing is some newbie getting his wife to help lauch him at 13th beach on a high tide in a gusty strong westerly.

And I'm not there to capture it for Funniest home Video.

I could be 10G richer.

That's Depressing

you guys have got it ALL wrong...

what's depressing is when it's your first season kiting, & after all the lessons, after sitting on the beach for hours cause there's either not enough wind or there's too much wind for your newbie backside, then, just as it comes together for you, when you can get up on the board & stay up, you can do some downwinders, you can actually say "i'm kiting", and then, THE FREAKIN' SEASON ENDS!!!!!

THAT IS DEPRESSING...

Azza,

whilst i appreciate your sympathies, no amount of pills (or pils for that matter!!)is going to take away the depression...at least until season 06/07 starts...i was just starting to have fun mate, and now the fun's gone away!!

So Dr. Azza, what do you suggest or prescribe to this very unhappy newbie? I await your suggestions.

Well Junglist,

it's going to be a long wait for a decent sea breeze here - otherwise it's a trip up north in July/August for some decent wind & weather...roll on summer...

Juddy,
I just visited my local procurist refilling my own prescription of pils (they come in a handy pack of 24 you know ). As a doctor, I really shouldn't self prescribe but I do so like my pils, I find them most agreeable and suffer minimal side effects even at quite moderate therapeutic doses.

Perhaps what is best for you Juddy is a combinational treatment of group therapy and a course of pils

Good health to you,
it's time for another dose.

Dr AzzA.

Dear Dr Azza,

thanks for the prescription. In the past i've had a problem with self medicating with those boxes of 24 Pils. i've even tried several different types of Pils but to no effect. I still get stuck on Pils. What do you recommend?

In the mean time, i need more Pils. There is SFA wind in Perth at the moment...not even enough to get my Peel 3.6 up in the air...wind or Pils? please help...

your patient patient

Juddy,

I don't often do house calls but, due to your predicament, I am prepared to make an exception. I feel that I must observe you whilst you're administering your pils to ensure that you're using the correct technique, dosage and rate. Now given that we are at opposite ends of this nation-island, and my busy schedule of saving lives, you may have to wait a while for an appointment... how does early next month sound?

Kind regards,
Dr AzzA

PS Please ensure the pils are correctly stored prior to administration and ensure that an additional few doses are available to sooth my travel weary bones.

Dear Dr Azza,

As long as there is no breeze in Perth, i would suggest holding off your house visit...(well, some lucky barrstarrds are kiting on the river right now).

I appreciate your concerns & advice & would be more than happy to show rate, quantity, and quality of the Pils consumed upon your arrival.(Do you bring hottie Nurses with you when you do house visits?)

If you & your entourage leave ?? now, you might make it in time for some decent winds...

regards,
cough,cough,splutter,

your patient...

Juddy,

I don't expect Perth to be blessed with a "breeze" for some time yet, perhaps the odd "wind" may favour occasionally, each bastard will have his lucky day yet.

Rest assured I will be checking your method soon. Nurse Mildred Ratched will remain on the east-side of our nation, I have found her more than willing to administer the cold spoon on many occasions, but will not be needing her services for this mission of mercy. I'm sure there is much local talent for this hottie Doctor to call upon without bringing my own.

The camel is being packed as I speak, see you soon.

Regards,
Dr AzzA.

PS. That's a nasty cough you have there Juddy, perhaps I should refer you to a specialist.

Dear Dr,

forget Nurse Ratched. My condition requires Nurse Debbie & her colleague Nurse Foxy...i feel so poorly, i think i need both their specialist attention(s)

As for breeze, or 'wind' as you put it, I think there is more "wind" on seabreeze (especially hot air) than Perth is currently experiencing.

It all lends itself to having to self medicate Dr. I think i'm developing a problem with Pils. Should i continue to self medicate or is there a 24 pack that you recommend?

Whilst the camel is packed, it may help my recovery if you sacrificed a virgin or two to Hui & pray that sends us enough wind or breeze to make a trip to the water worthwhile...

until Pils, Debbie & Foxy, or a decent breeze,

i remain your patient,

cough cough

Juddy.

when you gaze into Rachaels bewitching brown eyes, staring back at you through that enigmatic smile of pouting lips, dreamily asking yourself;
"OMG .....where have you been all my life ?"
then waken to the thought;
"unborn & flat chested probably covers 9/10ths of the answer"

Sometimes simple reality is Depressing.
