Blueyes are great!

I've been using a pair for surfing for about 4 years now - no headahces from squinting anymore, never needed to change lenses. They are also excellent for warmer days when snowboarding as they do not fog up like normal sunnies or goggles and I also use them mountain biking. We have been lucky enough to have Blueye agree to sponsor us on the Monkeykites Great Downwinder. Most of our team has chosen either the Squid or the Tadpole slim. The interchangable / replaceable lenses are good becuase you can cater for sunny and overcast conditions.

Best thing is these guys are an Australian owned company and do all their own design. They sell worldwide successfully because they make a quality product.

here goes the tadpoles are cool every semms to know that but the quid
there are tottally diffrent more of a hard plastic like a very flexable but strong waterjacket style i think they would breath better less fog ect i got the type wth orange mirrored lenses i dont know if that type is scratchable or more prone to scrathes so if someone could help it or has insight it would be appriciated im still lost as to which pair i should send back the squids would give me less weird looks while driving as they dont look 2 bad at all so there u go

I just started working for kite surfing shop in melbourne for my uni holidays and we sell Sea Specs - cost around $100 to your door next day delivery or $95 in the shop
they have great lenses - either blue or brown for sunsets.
And the strap is pretty nice as well.

got my eye just about damaged on Sat from a lack of sunnies... Might just try the bunning UV safety glasses approach for now (a bit short on cash the next couple of months) and see how I go with them...

I have bought 4 pairs of seaspecs over the last 2 years, which should be a lesson in itself, my mate has bought 5, for some stupid reason i keep replacing them. My last 2 have lost a lense, the other 3 had cracked frames!! My mate lost all 5 on crashing, still hasn't learnt to tie a shoe lace to his neck or wettie. They scratch easy and are made of crap quality, i will not replace this issue but will definately send the last 2 pairs back to the company to see what they will do, will keep you informed on that one, to see if they back their product. I also have a pair of waterjackets, they are good, a little brighter than the standard polarised because of the orange lense, they tend to fog if surfing i found. Hope this helps someone trying to make a decision, I am getting a pair of blueyes to see how they go, you only get one pair of eyes and have seen too many guys with tarigiams ( I definately know that is spelt wrong but anyway it is a growth on the eye that once removed can come back and cause cancer, and if not removed causes blindness, it is caused from sun refractions off shiny surfaces i.e water)

i got the tadpoles they r sweet as they like mold to your face, more of a goggle and ole lence the only bad bits are they arnt polorised which i acctuly now prefer and alsothey are one lense so in theory if i take a weird 200km stack the lence might pop out and sink to the bnottom of mr big blue

Look great, need to apply straps..........but for the price you can't go wrong.
