For any argo riders out there. I just got a griffin 2010 argo, but I don't have any info about the wing tip(rear line settings). I am assuming that the rear attactment is for faster turn speed, the forward one for slower. Is this correct?

Also what settings are you using the most. I am looking forward to trying them all out but am just curious.

What size did you get.

If you really want to speed up the turns try ab or even aa for the centre bridle and 4,6 or even 5,6 on the shoulder bridle (I have also found this ideal for lighter winds ) if the wind is really crankin and you want to smooth things out go to 3 ,5 on the shoulder

thanks mr float, so moving the center bridle forward increase's turn speed? and shoulder bridle forward grunt?

according to the griffin website, 26AC is best for allround use. 36AC for lite wind, and 25AC for strong wind, what do you think?

Yes as you can see moving the shoulder bridle further forward is the way to go for lighter wind and they don't suggest any change from the ac setting.I know there will be others reading this post which is why I suggested the ab or aa idea as something that is good to try
.i don't want to confuse things but i have found that in addition to moving the shoulder bridle attachments forward in lighter winds and back in high winds you might want to change the centre bridle closer to the tip (ie ab and aa) for general use .I have found that by doing this the turn speed overall (ie through all the shoulder bridle settings for light moderate and high winds )is improved which as a big bugger riding the 13.5 a fair bit is very handy with that kite in particular .

yes I understand your point.
The kites fly just fine how they come and like every other kite out there with no or limited options , can be left exactly as the came out of the bag .
they have other options for people who would like to customise their settings .(yes it is hard to believe but over the years i have played around with bridle settings and changes just like the companies do for you before they decide which one will be best for most conditions and most people and have found better setting that suit me and others . For example I have had people come to me with popular kites from popular brands that they were ready to throw in the bin becasue they hated them so much and i have adjusted the bridle settings /lengths and they then love it .go figure )

personally I really like having a clear and simple system (that the argo has) if you want to change the flight characteristics .Sorry for complicating things by finding and announcing my findings .Perhaps we should all stick with things that are "all black ,model T" so that our heads don't explode
