Yeah I'm sure a video of kitestock would be more entertaining than a video of the slider jam... The reason this sport has so much **** media and boring coverage is because of people that think just like that.
How could anyone in their right mind think that a dealer meeting/ testing free ride session with some boosts and other stuff in a choppy ocean with limited angles would look better than coverage of a park jam where you get to see the riders building the obstacles then riding them with some of the best "pro" kiters in the world from different angles such as a helicopter... hahaha.

p.s.
Someone should make a Magazine with just huge boosts in scenic locations, now that would be sweet!!!
You could make a tv series out of it to... Something along the lines of "Huge boosts in scenic locations, with a WIDE angle lens!" would be a good title for it. You could even do a sequel to it to, "Huge boosts in scenic locations, with a WIDE angle lens and a helmet on!"
Man there is so many possibility's with a show like that, the sky is the limit. Literally.

a show like kitelife is hopefully opening a lot of narrow minds and closed eyes in the australian kiting scene.

kiting is all about progression and fun and showing this with different approaches is what kitelife does and the shld be something in there for anybody from beginner to expert.

All of us should be happy that we have somebody like Paul and Anthony who bust their butts to make a show like this happening and broadcast it.

stop complaining and rather do something to contribute to the sport!

move on

Kitelife bored me. I went back to reading my novel before the show finished.

I am constantly looking for new videos on the internet, and in shops... How could someone like me be bored with a show about kiting?

It seemed that most of Kitelife was deadpan interviews, and safety tips. Sure, safety is important. You could be injured kiting - but the same goes for surfing, motocross, mountainbiking, snowboarding, etc. Programs about snowboarding don't bore their viewers with long segments about how to get off a chairlift safely. They understand that this sort of thing is best covered in lessons...

It is a shame - I think these guys could be onto a winner, but seem to have lost their way.
Hopefully they read this thread because there has been plenty of constructive comment that they could use, to potentially improve their program (& ratings).

I wish them luck with it!

I think the guys are doing well, at what is a tough job. It is hard to please everybody, but I do think constructive criticism is... err... constructive and should continue here.

I hope the guys read the comments here so they can continue to improve the show, but I for one do understand the difficulties in producing such a show and think the boys are doing ok. The profile of kitesurfing is definitely rising, but it is still not as widely known as surfing and skating. Shows like kitelife help to raise the profile of the sport, and to pave the way for future kitesurfing shows.

I personally think that more Travel info is potentially a winning idea (people love to dream of travel and plan their next kiting escape), and I concur that in most cases safety information is best reserved for lessons.

Keep up the good work boys.
