Surfing is good when its easterly. I have kited at Walter the last two days, was pretty average for trying tricks. Especailly unhooked because very hard to get the power right, always too much or not enough. I spose today was a bit of fun though, got a few werid gusty jumps which are fun cause you never know whats gonna happen.

I've lost faith in Point Walter, have ridden it about 10 times now, yet to have it work good. People say that on it's day is better than Woodies but I just can't see it, gusty, sharp crap on the bottom. Maybe its fun for people just wanting to get out and have a cruise, not the best place for dialing tricks.

Nothing like a sweet summer seabreeze south west at the spot, nothing compares.

Whats wrong with south Warnbro/Port Kennedy?

I was checking it out with the westerly's 2 weeks back, and figured the south end of Warnbro beach would be great in anything with Northerly in it.

Just head down to Port Kennedy - turn W at the big roundabout and head for the Golf Club - at the club gates take the little dirt track that heads NWish along the wire fence to the little beach car park. Bobs yer uncle.
