Name and shame them.
Or, get some evidence of them not following the rules and then if you can get ASKA on board (to try and discourage people not caring for the rules), have ASKA deny them insurance coverage and then get the council to ban kiting at those beaches to anyone other than ASKA members.
good idea but when being told to '**** off ' its hard to get hold of someones name .The aksa member only idea is a good one and was suggested here .kind of hard to enforce (beach inspectors don't have time to check ) plus no tags so far this year . Also its not really an issue of following rules so much but some respect for someone who has the courage to say something to someone who might not be aware of the local ettiquette ( or even care what it is )in order to keep their local open and are then either ignored or abused .
I don't think anyone wants a whole heap of rules ,naming and shaming and so on .its more something that seems to be creeping into society in general that unless you are a law enforcement officer you can **** off and if you are are an enforcement officer your a **** and you can **** off too .Unfortunately it has come to kiteboarding and the ultimate result will be bans unless there is a united voice and everyone at the local takes responsibility for saying g'day to new faces and giving a heads up to em on local issues .
