Where in Australia are wind and waves set up for a natural footer - there are some places here in WA when the wind is Northerly - but that wind is a bit tricky and not enough of them, the summer SWester and lefts go hand in hand...

Im after a longer wave than the typical shorebreak we have... the opposite of this place in Peru would be awesome if it existed... in Australia

Yeah im keen to know some as well. Maybe a super groyne that is constructed at a certain angle will do it. Or a couple of artificial reefs that actually work often.

Or...god forbid, we could train to be goofy footers.

Lots of good waves here of course but on the SW coast the waves and predominant wind suit a goofy footer just as they do in surfing also... keen to get some rights like you find in QLD but are the winds favourable for those places (ie are the sea breezes there SEasters?)

this was the wave in Peru I forgot to put the link too

ahh the old bisexual way. I thought we were talking about surfing(in the kite forum....) .hehe, yeah with the kite riding both ways is fine. I wonder if I could now surf as a goofer as well?

whats wrong with riding left natural!! a big plus switching from windsurfing to kitesurfing is I can now ride left handers as I would on a surfbaord with my back to the wave - feels way better than forceing a goofy stance

Nothing wrong with riding goofy... would just love to find a suitable place that has the opposite setup, lefts are great but some rights every now and again would be sweet...
