I got some good advice in a lw tt but I was leaning towards a surf board because I would get the extra wind range and also different conditions.
If you really want to get out in winds below 15 knots on flat water I'd say get a larger TT, there are so many to choose from, but a couple of the ones I know that work well for me at 76kg are the Axis Patrol 1.44cmx46cm or Cabrinha Stylus 1.45cmx45cm (they do make a couple of bigger sizes too, the 1.55x47 would give you a very good low end), basically something with specs in the 1.45x45 range.
If you want to get similar bottom end and also play in small to medium sized waves, then get a surfboard like the Cab Skillett 5'10", but learn to ride it properly for light wind, do not ride it with your feet on one side of the board or with your rear foot on the rear deck pad, ride it with your feet more in the middle and only slightly to the windward side of the centre, and stand more forward and ride it flatter. I see many people riding surfboards like they are on a TT and edging them hard, they get really lousy low wind performance and its harder to go upwind like this on a surfboard too. 15/10 or 11/7 C4's with 2 bars, 25 or 27M lines on the 54cm bar for the 15M and 23M on a 50cm for the other 2 kites.
