I have a warrior flysurfer which i love to fly. I got a really bad tangle a few weeks ago which i got out by pulling the whole thing apart. Since then I seem to have lost a bit of my depower and it doesnt seem to flip over on the leash after a crash as easy as it did before. As anyone got any ideas ?

flysurfer.de is the website for Flysurfer. They have line layout diagrams for all their models (at least they did last time I looked). You can print them off and compare with your kite to see you have it right.

Failing that find someone else with a warrior and ask if you can lay the kites next to eash other.

Failing that contact Ian Young and ask him if he minds having a look at your kite to check the line layout.

Hi Jonathan,

I guess you could check the section of your manual (also available on the FS website): the line set up and lengths are likely to be detailed.

An easier method would probably be to compare your line setup and lengths with another warrior of the same size.

Alternatively contact Ian Young. He may have the solution.

Good luck.

Happy to have a look at it for you - give me a call to arrange a time & place 0414 716 812.

Tip for next time - if you have tangled lines of any kind it's best not to disconnect lines but to pass the bar or kite back through the tangle - it's not as difficult as it might sound. Kite start at one wing tip and work along the leading edge clearing it of any lines. Bar: get red line clear to the left from the kite to the bar then the centre, the green @ right - work the twists to the bar then untwist the bar by following one line through at a time.

Fred,
No worries. Just a case of great minds thinking alike.
