I saw a tall red head girl at Brighton/ Scarborough beach the other day... not only was she strapless in 25 kts, she had nothing on at all! Got to love European girls and there quest for natural exfoliation!

I saw a tall fat grossly ugly man in Swanbourne during the WAKSA downwinder. He was standing on the tide line, bollock naked hands on hips swinging low in the breeze.
It was almost enough to put you off the BBq.

Why don't you all just wear your strapless under your wetsuits, that way no one would know if your going a strapless or not and there will be no arguements!

Maybe not even wear your bras at all and stop being girls while your at it.

I rode unstrapped the other day, and i must admit it was quite fun. I think it is hard to ride really fast, and carve with heaps of power, but it was fun messing around with airs and stuff. I would probably still prefer strapped for real power riding, but am planning to mess around some more strapless! PJ what have you done to me!!!!

Must agree with Big D, ride what you ride!! we're all gay!!! I mean kewl!

I don't like any learners or any kiters with less than 3 years experince kiting anywhere near me. They piss me off at Scabs, getting in my way 24/7, if fact I reckon we ( all the kiters over 3 years in sport) should get the WAKSA to ban all leaneres from getting into the sport. If fact all othr kiters piss me off. You all get in my way especially you Bevo, you bloody unstrapped unhooked dog, on a standard surfboard. Remember brother and sisters, It's all about me......[}:)]

I hate that dick head too, what a cock, I especially hate the back packers lining the beach, they really put me off , more so than strapless kiters in 50 knots.......

Sorry Ry & Slingy,

Shoulda known you were taking the p1ss. These topics of people writing off others sh1ts me to tears. 'Tis time people grew up a bit and kited for the right reasons ..... pure self indulgence and fun. If it makes ya happy, then do it and let others enjoy the sport for what they get out of it.

Prolly see ya on Sunday. Good winds,

RR I am actualy 34 and believe I have no syndrome, I think of myself as quite a happy go lucky type with no ego issues - if not excitable at times.

Why dont you be the "bigger" man and come out of ya security closet? cause right now I'm thinking your a Man B!tch hiding behind a phalic user name (I think they call it a betong in Indonesia)?

but maybe you do have an obsession with dogs penises but thats ok I like people for who they are not what brand they choose to ride or what colour their kite is

- frankly I would fly a sausage if they worked and were free

riding strapless all together is just stupid. there is no advantage from it. people are not going to progress riding strapless. the future is airs in combination with handle passes and massive hacks. after all by riding strapless all you are trying to do is surf and all you are doing is surfing badly. 10 year old groms surf better than anyone on a kite.

I feel so let down by the level of Aussie kiters. I have just returned from 4 years teaching around the world and what I see here is just cruising compared to what's going on in the shore break in Cabarete, in Dos Mares -Tarifa in 40kts,Ponta Preta with a wicked 25+ offshore breeze, and the list goes on. The guys doin it are by no means well equipped with the latest gear, but they have been experimenting all the time to find out how everything works. If you were one of these people, like I have done , you'd know that when the wind increases above 26 kts and sometimes less, it becomes gusty. Gusty conditions for jumps sometimes feels like going back to day 1 of riding and jumping a twin tip. Strapless lets you 1: Ride through the gusts via the volume of the board. 2: Adjust your edge via feet placement to ride higher and closer to the edge and get amazing upwind results. 3: ride out a gust downwind with speed and come out with tension on the lines, rather than slack and then getting that big loft out of the water(tea bag).
Guys and girls- Versatility is the name of the game here. Strapless Surfboard, wakeskate, skimboard, wakestyle, foilboard, directional, all build up specific components to your riding level and ability to handle different conditions. Some conditions are best for other styles and finding out this is a matter of testing each of them and training to master them all. I carry at least 4 types of boards with me to the beach and I make the most out of all that Mother nature is offering. Try it my fellow Aussies- lets pump up the level and get more guys up there blitzing the northern hemisphere crowd.
Irie.

VB was working with me today, he AIN'T no red rocket! (ask the snail that was following him)

Isn't it Benchong in Bahasa Indonesia. I guess it depends if they are saying it with a mouth full or not eh Bevo?

Anyway, Red Rocket expose yourself to Bevo, and get this nasty post over and done with.

four boards huh i am flat out getting two
**** how often is it over 30 at the goldy "sigh"
hell those spots must be great
wish i had the cash and freedom to trip around the world that sounds so sweet dude.
Those spots that blow 25 to 35 every arvo those guys sure are lucky no wonder they really cook!

well they might rip but i think you will find some innovation here that is vey exciting. I am pretty new to strapless but love the way you can move your feet. And when i take away the straps i turn so much better cause i got turn for real to stay on.

Tried these new straps the other day that are so sick. For all the surfers out there you can move your feet around and get your sick carving turns and when you want hook in and boost or whatever you can do it. Its the best of both worlds. They are so cool i have ordered a set I am so excited. I suppose for the really strong wind days you can stay hooked in more. Man they are the gear
