yeah, good point, will go the dirty dogs with Rxs, as ive been quoted about 125 pounds (not wanting to buy something expensive without actually seeing it first, but dont have many options here).

as for daily contacts, great idea but they just dont exist for my script (OD: cyl -1.50, sph -1.50, axe 65, OG: cyl -1.25, sph -2.00, axe: 90).

The SeaBreeze sunnies from the SeaBreeze shop are awesome. Tie them on to the zipper strap on your wetsuit to keep from losing them.

Years back 2002-ish a great brand of water sport sunnies = LAVA.
They had an elastic neck collar (priest collar like) with a clip.
Anytime you needed to just clipped the sunnies strp onto collar - they eventually broke - and ditto the company.
Now I make equivalent collar using 2 cm elastic - + a fishing shackle
I attach sunnies and also waterproof camera to this - it works well.

Maelstrom sunnies are good but did not trust the lanyard clip / plug for attaching camera to ($40 delivered)

In the sea most lenses are not that great so anything off the face helps drain / clean - I found Dirty dog too wrap around and was for ever oiling them up (diving mask anti-fog is good gear) - so following on the general theme I use cheap and replace when scratched / break. Definitely allow for high impact - 4safety.
Cheers
