Sounds great - if I'm allowed I will bring the barbeque and maybe a tent. I have access to chairs and table. Suggest a junior section under 16 as I know a number of younger kiters who would welcome the event.
Maybe all those who offered asssistance to KBV will also contribute and maybe compete - I will follow up with PM.

Good for you Hookworm and Rob may i suggest a 4pm start, as a local i feel the wind is more likely to be on about then. maybe 3pm meet and greet and a 2pm setup.
#under 16
#open boys (any age)
#open girls (any age)
#big air (any age, but over a buoy closer to the pier, in deeper water about 6pm) after the opens have gone on and finished.
Top 6 is a good number, down to top 3.
I think you may need 3 or 4 judges to make sure you won't get any bomb threats (joke)(sort of)(maybe)
Just a thought
I'll be there with my KBV tee shirt on

Hey hookworm. Just read the other forums (alot of moaning) who cares? I went down to st kilda early to see what was happening, and nothing. I thought there may be something closer to the actual time of start, but nothing. They should have just keep with the original plan and seen if the wind was to pick up (which it did). Good venue, lots of punters almost a perfect day? Laurie
