Hi All

I am a Beginner just starting to stand up on the board, and am new to the Gold Coast area.
I was wondering what the best places and wind conditions for beginners are around the GC area

Thanks

I live in pacific pines and would probably drive within an 45min to an hour radius if I had to I've heard about a couple of places to go such as runaway bay and currumbin , but I was also interested in the best wind i.e direction for local areas best suited for beginners I'm guessing southerlys or northerlys would be best but would like some local advice I guess

Hey Brad,
Try these links......

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/South-East-Queensland/Kiting-in-southerlys/
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/South-East-Queensland/Loders-creek-shear-water/

If that's not enough info just let us know, I'll see if I can help u some more

P.S. I would give Currumbin a miss until u get some more experience. Shearwater is closer and much better for learning IMO
