Just go out when its 25 knots or more, then it doesn't matter which way the tide is running
You are more likely to Booooooooost higher in 25+ knots, therefore giving you a better view of the sharks whilst keeping out of harms way....
Seriously though Dave, it's as simple as wind against tide.....so if ur at kfc in a south east breeze u want the tide to be coming in and vice versa if ur out in a north easter. Shearwater is opposite to this.....
