Hey folks, had my first session on the 12m Pivot at our local Pippie Beach,Yamba in fairly light 12-14knots.At 95kgs and on a Mako King 165cm.Ok for a 12m the Pivot is the fastest turning kite that I have used so far.In that wind it made an average session really enjoyable.Excellent bottom end for such marginal wind.Would normally use the Best 17m Light wind but just wanted to see the real bottom end of this amazing Pivot. Two mates were on 11mEdges and big TT'S,boths less kgs and only doing slightly better unwind but hey they are EDGES.Impressed with the light bar pressure, normally like the above the bar depower but below trim works a treat. My wife is over the moon impressed with trim depower being easier to reach. Most above bar trim for her being to hard to reach.6-8-10 and now the 12m covers both of us for all conditions being different weights. All in all stoked in these kites.

Own a 8m. Rode it both strapless and on a twin tip in both high and low end of the kite. This kite jumps very very nicely! Excellent low and high end and drifts nicely while waveriding. Pretty impressed!

I know you cannot trust them but does anyone know where there is a indication of wind ranges for the pivots? I cannot find on the Naish site. I want to see what the overlap is between the 8 and 11 vs 8 and 12.

Hi just traded in my 12m for an 11m. Couldn't be happier with the swap. I have a 17m Zephyr for really light days but seldom use it. The 11m is much faster, drifts better than the 12m. Couldn't be happier. My quiver is now 7, 9, 11 Pivot with me at 81kgs.

I was down at woodman point today, probably 30 knots. There was a possibility of demoing Naish gear and although i have not previously particularly liked the few Naish kites that I tried (Bolt, Helix, Park ). instead my preferred kite is Ozone Edge 9 m , 11 m (jumping, backroll, transitions). the 7 m Pivot was availabe for demo and i tried it. While the kite turns quick, it was not twitchy so i dared some jumps. The jumps reminded me of the edges: very safe feeling, good control, light bar pressure, good for transitions and high slow backrolls, and most of all floaty jumps and soft smooth controllable landings, not like park or bandit. I could not understand how a fast turning 3 strut kite can be kept stable above your head, like the edge, without feeling an accidental kiteloop could happen, like with the older Jekyll. Transitions, nice staying in the air as long as possibly and redirecting the kite just before hitting the water. Better than with the edge. Kiteloop transitions.... Well i did not dare to with my edges, so i chickened out but would expect to be easier with less penalties than with the edge....btw Jesse did kiteloops, (torch) wow. So is the pivot the closest thing to faster turning edge And good for hand plant and dark slide transitions?

How do you find the 7, does it catch you ok?
What surprised me was the jumping ability of this kite, but with all the advantages of other wave kites in turning, drift, and General allround freeride fun, the edges are a great kite, but lack in many other departments, but I know they are a race kite so to be expected.

I usually by older model kites, which allows me to do some testing without going broke. It seems though that this time i have to spend more than 1000 and get a pivot. or are there other kites with edge jump / hang attributes but with which you can dare to do backroll kiteloop transitions. Airush Variel X perhaps?

Sounds like the Pivot is the star of this season. For those that have them could you share your size, your weight and wind range you use them in?

Update on the 11-9 pivots, kite is a machine! Love these kites, power is soo smooth with plenty of it, jumping ability of this kite is excellent also, perfect amount of power in the pivoting turn on this kite.
Great bottom end, and top end, well it's a
Jumpathon, really would recommend this freeride, wave kite.

Skywalker - Just demoing a few kites and I will be trying the Naish Pivots.
What bar are you using with these kites, The Naish one with the below bar is a bit Naff.
I am thinking of getting a 11 & 8 as a 2 Kite Quiver. When the wind is light I tend to ride a surfboard.
I am coming fro Rebels, Any thoughts?

New fusion bar, excellent push away safety, below the bar depower works way smoother than on the older bars because the cleat juts out slightly, so resets real easy, all in all super happy.
