How's the flack you got! "you should iron your kite after every use"

Maybe get something that doesn't turn too much.. I've done that and it helps a lot. Other than that I reckon kites don't rip much anymore. I drop mine heaps in the surf and never really have probs.

I have seen fuels pounded all day long. Slingshot make good kites.

Thanks everyone for the advise, I have ordered a new 2011 RPM, should turn up any day now so i can't wait. Naturally there will be no wind for weeks and it will be my fault

Everyone should buy their kites mid winter buying a kite mid summer stuffs the wind in the important season.
