I have one that I'm yet to use. Does anyone know if we can buy extra sticky pads in case we run 2 boards?
Yep we have them. $39.95 for a pack of two.
Seems a bit steep for two pieces of plastic and two pieces of 3M tape.

You mean, $27.75 don't you?
Both correct, just re-checked the RRP and its $29.99. Incorrectly entered into our system
I stand by my original comment.....it still seems pricey for a couple bits of plastic and tape.
Injection molding - you're not paying for the materials, you're paying for set-up costs. The mold are probably tens of thousands of dollars...
I'm a designer and spend about 3 months a year (for the last 11 years) in plastic factories in China. Tools are about 4-8k dependent on steel quality, cavity numbers and complexity (moving parts in the tool) and I'll cost the plastic at no more than 10c including material weight, labour and factory mark up. The 3M tape I'm not sure but couldn't be more than 10c. i think when when you purchase a Woo for $250-300 you shouldnt have to pay an extra $30 for an extra mount that cannot cost any more than 20c.
It does not cost 20 cents, 20 cents may be raw material only of the molded part depending on what they are using.
Don't forget factor in design, mold cost, set up each time the mold is re used, materials, tape, assembly and shipping. On top of that there needs to be an allowance for advertising and sponsorship to help promote the product.
And lastly the shop needs to make a profit as well so they can stay in business.
So for 2 parts $29.99 is pretty fair.
End of lesson.
