You will find out with us (The forum Members) that no question is too difficult nor is there such a thing as a stupid Q. Ask and you will find that there has to be at least a thousand years of building experience and it is free for the asskicking..

Stick to the LLM and you will have a bunch of fun in both Building and Sailing..

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn about land sailing. I hope you go ahead and build a mini. Follow the plans carefully and you should find it fairly straight forward. A word to the wise....take some time to read all the construction forums. If you are in anyway confused ask questions. These fine folks seem to do their best to keep you on track and keep you from screwing up. The other neat thing is that you will be encouraged to do a good job as you post your photos. (and please do, as we all can learn from your journey. Plus I like looking at build photos.) It is kind of fun.

Regarding Nikrum:

I for one, take great offense when Nikrum calls me an anal retentive Yank.

This I find terribly strange??? I give people I like a hard time, and I expect no less in return. TP1 is one of those whom jousted across the Threads with me.
Everyone else got upset but the contenders?? I have a little fun with our Northern Brothers whom would appear to take it in Fun and haven't complained about me being unfair in my TOXICAttacks (As seen by some members. None of you know what has passed between my so-called-Victims and myself in PM's Nor the Well Wishes I have had via the same method. But this I will Tell you for free, "There isn't one of them that I would turn away from my Door or offer a Warm Dry Bad and a feed should they land on my doorstep. However there quite a few others that I have No Opinion of nor would waste my time doing so. It seems to me that one thing I have learned since coming on this Forum is that Many of you need to Read and Comprehend what is being said understand the underlying inferences and innuendo Learn not to be so uptight as to retain a hot needle stuck up your Butts and get on with your lives.

The original question was "Where do I find 'Paul's plans for LakeLefroy mini?" a really good basic query. Nickrum it didn't require your crass reply, it has been said before your ramblings while you might find them funny and not intending offence others do. Yes I am aware like Hiko said people have left the forum because of your offensive comments which is a shame. It has zip to do with being super sensitive with no sense of humour it has everything to do with finding your behaviour on the forum at times down right offensive. It is also not about being "PC" (politically correct) The fact that you are unable to apologize for offending someone but spend considerable time justifying your behaviour shows how little regard you have for other people. Unfortunately you give the impression we Aussies are all crass and bully like, Australia has come a lot further than that!!!!

I do believe some restraint on the local vernacular would be in order.

This is not a purely a West Australian or Australian Forum, particularly when it comes to Land Yachting.

This forum has been credited with much kudos by contributions from members from all over the globe.

Australian humour has unique and convoluted forms which may sometimes be understood by our Kiwi brothers who we love dearly but be nonsensical or even offensive to our other brothers over the border (equator), who we also love dearly.

In short, my message is:- "Make sure brain is engaged before putting mouth or keyboard in gear."

It's alright Ron. He would have been a £10 pom...if he wasn't Welsh! Last time he was in the UK he offended every branch of the family and then cleared us all out of single malt! I didn't realise the North Islanders could whinge so much, they can pack it in as that's our thing in the UK

Went for my first landsail yesterday. Interesting 6-8 knots on beach, not the best day but got out and learned a little more.
