Yes it certainly begs the question, what will happen when a cyclone makes land fall SEQ or northern NSW ?
The anchorage in Iluka was sparsely populated so plenty of swing room. One boat chewed through its anchor rope and instead of washing up on the beach she reached under bare poles, unmanned,out the hole in the wall into main channel retrieved by marine rescue. Maritime put a motor cruiser on a mooring after it broke free of its own and I also spotted them skull dragging a house boat back into Yamba. Not bad as it didn't gust over 40kts

I was feeling a bit cheated as I had pulled the headsail off the furler, and trussed up the boom bag, then double lined the bow and stern lines, cancelled our planned sailing and then we hardly got any serious wind at all, maybe 30 odd knots?
