Saw this on an SA thread. Brand new Oceanis 38. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.







Another one where the owner complained about cracking around chainplates.

Am I seeing what I think I am Seeing. Is that the chain plates below the deck on a load spreader plate. Surely they are tied in to the hull.

Wouldn't see anything like that on a Delphia.

I think they are a good strong build.
Not a racing boat but a very spacious and solid cruising boat.
Mine has been most of the way around the world.
