Count me in for a large sized five fin set of futures!!!
I've been stalking Troy for a few years now and every time I get onto him he's sold out.

I can't seem to find his site anymore either, bighugg, can you post his contact details so we can possibly put in an order.

WOW - what a difference they make to performance. You can certainly feel the difference, and this was in reasonably small surf. Cant wait to try them in the bigger stuff.

To add to that
Piros has post on sup General - What's your local surf shop worth to you ?
Recon C-drive is in the same boat.
Hopefully this thread will give him a referred list of buyers of intent

They're the best fins for SUP by a country mile. I use them in my shortboards too, makes em fly.

i found c-drives better in some boards than others. for example i put a set of mediums in the JP 8'0 Surf Pro and it ripped. when i tried them in the JP 8'2 surf pro (same shape scaled up) they didn't inspire me and i went back to Arc mediums.

I've got to agree on the board being key. On an 8'8" Speed the board felt stiff with medium tri set of c drives. On a home made 7'8" board it is fast and loose - that is as a quad though, which might make a big difference.

Same here, I found C-Drive too still for boards over 7'6".
You may want to use only C-Drives on the side fins and regular center (or quad rears) however, it works quite well.

Got the other 2 fins for the Quad set up. Tried it out this morning at Manly in some decent size surf. Awesome performance. Amazing speed. Had these on the Starby Airborn 8'8"

I sure am. Mind blowing performance. Has completely transformed the boards performance. I would have these on all of my SUPs (10!!!) if I could get hold of them.
Hard to believe I can get this level of speed out of the Board and turns on a dime.

Have you tried C-drive quads in your Runway Noserider yet ?
If so , did it hold well with you on the nose ?

Got a thruster set, chasing rear quads now ....

Hi Smash1,
I am back hm for surftime and thought I would use GL as it was last surfed with quad. Was going to run L front, M rear in adapter.......
Not good....
The rear extra length won't allow them to drop in.....
Looking like they would end up with fair size cutaway wedge
Took awhile to get these so not prepared to chop.

yep, I had to sand a bit off mine to get them in, but not to much.

Managed to get hold of a set of Futures C Drives and yes there is a slight sanding of the rear section, but not a lot and has no impact on performance

Running C Drives on all of my boards (9). They are seriously the best fins available.
Need to get some crowd funding to get production started again
