I've been riding this board for about a month now I think it would depend on your weight and height and surfing ability.
Im only about 150 lbs 75 kilos??? and am going smaller does paddle real well form me and very stable but a lot of board to throw around. I do ride long boards and short boards so use to something long, but for me personally 5'9" and 150 lbs something smaller is going to be better.

I ride this board and also a 11' Watercooled and I think it's great. Floaty enough for cruising around and novices but definitely looser than a bigger board. Had it in good waves at Transits a few weeks ago and had a blast. There would be other boards with more shortboard performance but it's a good smaller all-rounder. I'm 100kg.

read your review was very interesting I did try it with both 4 fin setup and 2 plus 1
HAve been riding it at Noosa rivermouth and the points. I cant afford a board yet but was lucky and got a paddle from Woogie for a great price, so using my friends wife's 9'8".
really looking at the PSH 9'3" have you rode that?? how do you think that would go for my size..Please

Casso has a 9 3 " naish, everyone rates them very highly!! I think they have probably been raved about more than any board going (with good reason I believe).

It's a shame that the Uberfish is so fat/thick through the nose area..

They should change the mould and thin it down some.. I'm sure they'd sell more if they did.

Thanks for the info. I rode the 7s today and wow was it fast and responsive. I could feel what many people said about the volume in the nose. On a few take offs I really had to move forward but as soon as I was committed to the wave you had to get to the back of the board quickly (I'm sure a few people on shore were having a laugh). What impressed me the most is its stability. By the end of my session the wind had certainly whipped up to a strong cross shore, but the board cut through this with no problems. How is the naish 96 stability compared to the 7s? Can I forgive the fat nose and enjoy the 7s speed, movement and stability? Will it be a hinderance in fast clean sucking waves? Thanks Div

Yeah, I've rode that. Very nice board - you'd be fine on it, with surfing experience and being 75kgs. It's called a Ripper and is true to its name. The full CyberSUP review is due to be released tomorrow.

read with interest what you said about burying the rail etc.

Anything under 70kg (155lbs) might have a problem burying the rail. You would still be able to turn it but it would have to be more off the tail - more of a snappy turn than a gouging carve (using the rail).
