Oh how I love a new board. mmmmmmmmm

It's sad to put the 9'3" in it's board bag for the last time, but the 8'10" has won me over.

can't wait for my next session.

BP, you coming to mambo in November? You seem to think you know your tihs, would like to see you ride. Dissing the opinion of some of the best riders on here, you want to be pretty sure of your self!

Enjoy, til I get wet again.

Thanks that is all i was asking.

Umm just out of interest what type of waves did you try the 9 3" or 9 6" naish in ?

How big was it and was it hollow or fat and mushy??

Cause I can tell you one thing , the naish is by farrrr one of the best boards out there, and I have ridden most of them

Hey brooko, how you going?

I have riden the 9'6 and 9'3" in just about every condition from fat knee high slop to balls in your gutt deep and sucky. Unfortunately I have only ridden the 8'10" in fat knee high slop so far, but it was amazing how lively it was. Changing back from the 8'10" to the 9'3" felt like changing from the 9'3" to the 9'6". It is so lively, and is actually faster to paddle and catch waves with than the 9'3", even at my fat arse weight of 95+kgs.

What are you riding at the moment?

Hey Jb how is it mate

I have been riding the trusty old 9 6" naish which I rate big time for guys of my build 105 kg 6ft, just love that board
I also have the 8 6" surfshapes which is also a great speedy board, totally different to the 9 6" naish, but awesome in powerfull waves.

Real keen to try out all the new naish range

Happy to hear your enjoying the 9'6". Whats the vol on your 8'6"? I am pushing the limit on the 8'10" at my weight.

oh i can not wait for the 8'0, I had heaps of things to do yesterday but didn't leave the shop just in case it turned up(but it didn't) DAMM. Oh well another day at the shop waiting, might go for a quick run just to keep my weight down so i can paddle it.

Hey JB cut the edge of the ION sticker of so it looks nice and neat. But how good do they look ,hoping like hell i can do the 8'0 easy but if i can't the 8'10 is a great back up.

Its just a bit less than the 9 6" naish , can get a bit tricky in choppy conditions, but not really to bad.

I just had a summer North Shore session this morning on Maui. Rode the 8'10" it was a little unstable on the chop but it caught waves very well and ripped down the line. It eventually smoothed out and I had no problem standing on it and was super quick to turn around to get into position.

D. Kirche you visiting Maui? Would love to get a look at the board and see it in action. We have been hitting the north side and would love to see how that board performs. Let me know when you go.

Aloha

Dropped into the shop in Sandringham today to have a look at the new Naish range. the 8/10 looks tiny compared to the PSH 9/3 . An interesting shape, with the wide point way forward with skinny rails running to very skinny tail. made the PSH look like it had eaten a very big dinner. I'll leave the finer points of the shape to the more qualified but one thing I can comment on is that these boards seem to come fully optioned. $1700 bucks gets you the board plus grip plus good fins plus bag(and a good one). Yep it's about time someone thew a cat amongst the PSH pigeons . Come on global,PSH,Starboard and anyone else lets seez what ya got!! ps I'm not a dealer just impressed , now if they did a bit better than those cheezy graphics they put on their boards!!
