Yes - Mr Kakkerlak - I had to go back and check our PB list and you are still holding the record - with quite some margin, so it should hold safe for some time still!

Stitch - we normally go Milnerton lighthouse to Big Bay which is 10km on the dot - but we can also go Milnerton Lagoon Beach to Melkbos - then it's 20km. Entry at Melkbos is a little sketchy with big swell and the last 800m you paddle across the wind a bit and through kelp - otherwise great run. On the map it show Lighthouse to Big Bay

Sweet!

I know this was posted over a month ago, but I have been meaning to comment on how fantastic this downwinding footage is. It is easily the best footage I have seen of downwinding, every time I watch it I get inspired to get out (wishing our seabreeze still had legs in April!).

Great boat footage - I get a bit bored of POV footage all the time on other videos. Also if Chris Bertish hasn't been pick up by some astute SUP company, then they are missing a great opportunity - he is so fluid to watch.

next summer going to do the Dawesville cut to secret harbour run 20+ ks which looks almost straight downwind on a good ssw as often as I can. On paper it looks the best run close to metro area.

Any sponsors for a race????

20+ ks not sure 21 22

Would be good if Ad's from coreban of Ian at Auswind would put up some money and put the race next to the Doctor so guys from over east could do 2 races in a week. On Australia Day may be the best time

Good idea, sorry I miss read I thought you had said "Dawesville cut to secret harbour run 20+ kts" meaning wind strength. An Australia Day run would be perfect at 20km.
The Duel - 10km, The Doctor - 27km, The Cut Secret - 20km, that's a pretty good series of events within a month!

At least one would have to have a decent seabreeze!!
