Probably why I've apologised so many times and why in each of the posts I actually stated if you were a volunteer then to ignore what I was saying. Yes MJ it is that time of the day, month and year!!! As I said I just found out I'll probably be not sup surfing for a few months again because of a hip replacement. Secondly I didn't bag anyone from BASS SUP and in fact said how much I loved what they were doing. Go Back and read what I said. I know that you are someone that contributes to the comp side and works hard with in all facets of SUP and admin. Well done!! but I'll be stuffed if I'm saying sorry any more. We used to joke about how I won the over 54 and half fat, lazy kook division. Now it appears that will be a reality. I got involved in this thread because I personally believe that it doesn't matter diddly squat who wins the over 40's, 50's or over 60's division. . It's only the open division that really counts. I entered comps not because I thought I could win them but because of the camaraderie amongst the competitors. If it comes down to it, and I've said this before there is a guy called Dean Snow that I've watched SUP surf and in my opinion would probably win all of the above divisions and have fun doing it, but that's not a priority for him apparently. For me that's what the whole caper is about and I'm sorry, but I get amazed at how serious you all take it. I probably should have stopped writing by now because most of the protagonists would have stopped reading the post by now and are giving me another serve.
