Yer LSD,
You have certainly got it down pat. I thought I was getting it sussed, my last board only took me 12 hours to shape Like te flex blank idea, very clever.

Damn it! After watching "Shaping Epoxy 101" and "Glassing Epoxy 101" I thought I would be able to knock one up in 3 hours! Thats how long the vids went start to finish!

Had my first session in waves on the new board - only small high tide Cosy Corner(1foot at best and a bit fat) but it was warm and sunny and I ditched the booties and winter wetsuit. Another guy was out in boardies and vest - not bad for Victoria in late winter.

..... Back to the board - as I said waves were small & fat and needed a bit of work to catch. Caught about 20. Had to jump to the nose to catch them but when I did the increase in speed was impressive..... the nose concave at work

Trimming along the face I could get out on the nose easily and again the increase in speed was very noticeable.

Looking forward to some bigger waves to put the board thru its paces.
