Yes, There is a small place tucked away somewhere that only a dedicated few know about.

The waves that bash the forshore are so fast and hard the size of the lip crashing will rattle the cd out of your car sterio.

All who have gone to this place of hell have before hand said there fairwell to family and friends in the case of no return from the devels hand.

Hey guys (and girls) - it was a great event even though the conditions let us down yet again. It was small but still very contestable up until the semis - then the onshore wind hit and turned the already small waves to choppy dribble. The event organisers did a great job. Congratulations to Team QLD and Lummers for making the final. Great effort and exciting surfing by Appsy, Dogman, Scotty Mac and Brett Mason.

A dislocated shoulder on my first wave of the first heat kept me from doing my best but those guys were just too good anyway.

There should be some video coming soon from Robbo and I've got lots of good photos for the mag (along with a detailed play-by-play report). Early to bed for me tonight.

Well done casso, It was exciting for sure. How did you dislocate the shoulder? is it just a dicky shoulder or you done it somehow today.

I fell from doing a floater and landed with my paddle behind me. Killer. I did it once before, a few years ago, snowboarding.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say congratulations to all of you for such an awesome effort in the dribbly conditions, especially the finalists!

I have spent more time driving with the kiddies to Port and back today, then i did watching the comp, I am very tired but it was worth it.

Got to meet a few more of the men Dogman has been having his internet affair with! haha

By the way if anyone see's a stray dog lying in a gutter somewhere give him a kick, i left him down there!

Casso i think I caught your fall on video?? I will wait for Dogman to edit and upload the footage tho as I have NFI of how to do it! Hope you are feeling better!

Gday,Great day,great surfing.It was really good to meet heaps of breezers and see them doing their thing today,dispite the puss they had to work with.
Hat off to Josh Constable for the win,but all the breezers were right in it.
I have the whole thing sitting in the camcorder and as soon as the wife and kids come up with the freakin cord to upload the freakin footage into the freakin putor Ill have it for you.
We held a special "breezers" meeting at the conclusion of the days competition,with the odd ale or 4,great mob of people,laught my head off,

WOW awesome stuff guys, i've been at work all day hanging to get home and check the computer. Bad luck about the wing Casso, hope it doesn't keep you out of the water for to long.

Wow, Casso, that is nuts! We were watching the scores come up in that semi and thinking something must have gone wrong because you had been so consistent up until then.

That is a real bummer

painful too!

Well done mate and also to everyone who gave it a go in the first AUSSIE TITLES!

It would appear there is a serious issue of integrity and fair play. The organisers need to fully explain their reasons before this whole thing becomes a farce.

contact mark winson .surfing queenland and or the contest director,this was a descision made by the contest director when there were no shows,a meeting was held with the team managers and the queensland team manager claimed the spot first,who then ask jc to surf,not jc's fault he was just there.btw jc has a pretty good contest record in sup and has been suping since it started in australia,he just hasnt done it for a while because of a leg injury.jc entry was no conspiricy just a matter of circumstance,the powers that be made the descision.

Yeah-I'm calling bullsh$t on it!

Remember that the history of SUP in Australia that the first champ was Josh Constable!

And he was drafted into the comp AND (according to posts above) didn't even stand up paddle back out.
