About 10,000 posts ago I had some stirrers hassling me about posting pictures of paddling on flat water because back then most thought it was all about surfing and they would say things like "why would anyone want to just paddle around on flat water".
I continued to post anyway..

Glad you stuck with it DJ. I went for a paddle in the dark before dawn this morning with images of your adventure in my mind as I went. Had a great time paddling around the Bay, caught some waves, watched the sunrise and paddled home with tide and wind to assist me. Doing this for myself and not giving in to other peoples views of what one should be doing. You can see that comes through in your videos too.
Keep it up, as I'm sure like me, many people will continue to watch any post that has your name on it.
