The object of the Greenline Paddle Race is to get as many paddlers as possible to support Kirra Surfstock and the Bring Back Kirra campaign. Hence the nominal entry fee of only $10. The event is open to all paddlers including unlimited boards but prizemoney is limited and thus allocated to stock standard 12ft 6’ SUP boards only.

To clear things up "Stock" is fixed fin up to 12-6 so you can race on your 10 footer is you want to support the cause.

I use the term stock standard 12'6" as a board anyone can get hold of.
This came about because I witnessed a race where a competitor had a hollow 12'6 with a rudder that blitzed the field by miles.
Boards can be shorter as long as they have the fixed fin not rudders.
Just trying to keep a level playing field for all.
