Well I had my feet on it today.. Matt let me have a go of his new 17'er... Here's some pictures.
Here's where the rudder wires meet the rudder itself and the cable adjusters.
Here's the carbon fiber boomerang.. One side should come off depending if you're a goofy or natural.
Flipping the board you can see the sharp rails towards the tail area.
Here you can see how far the fin/rudder is from the tail.
This view shows the displacementy shaped front section and super soft rails.
Look at the nose from above and it look fine and petite.
Look at the fat arse.. and the board's tail is pretty chunky also.
There's no water going to wrap over the tail area when it's that thick.
Paddling the board it was very noticeable that it has less nose rocker than the 14 and felt very different.
The rocker is seen better in this pic.
I'm looking forward to paddling it on flat water and on a good down-winder.
