Choice is a good thing, variety is the spice of life that is why I like a quiver. Use what suits the conditions or you feel like using. Having fun on the 12er as it is easy might prefer the challenge of the 9 6 next week.

Correct, that is what i have on the way photos in about 3 days with my sexy kialoa methane.

May be 12 foot but it surfs better than some 9 somethings I have ridden.

Yet to see one on the Goldie Hilly but keen to have a go on one. Look very nice.

Must admit I was sceptical, most things hyped up on the net do not measure up. Took a couple of surfs to get the best out of the big girl.

Last surf in chest high waves had a very competent shortboarder comment "that was the best turn I have seen on one of those things". I think it was a compliment.

Find it strange as I was going down the smaller is better path myself. Not sure now can't wait for some serious waves.

I think it has Vicco Demo Board in 2 pac on the nose and rails 3 inches high last time I saw it.

Opps I wonder how that happened, hides spray gun.

I believe that if I was traveling and didnt know what type of weather or surf I was going to run into (I mean a road trip), I would definitely take the gun as it would shine. You then know you have flat water, ocean touring, bombie chasing and small waves covered in almost all conditions.

The 9'6 is by far a better lets have a fun session in 1 - 4 ft even in marginal conditions sup, but at 105kg i wouldnt take it open ocean touring etc.

Sadly our Vicco Demo board is going to QLD via SHQ sobs and there are no more available for now.

Board break ups of this nature are far more soul destroying than divorces!
