To be frank Im not really sure about that. I wrote up a review of a piece of equipment in a recent thread. The equipment was on loan from a major brand. Was that a bit off?
I thought it was an impartial review and maybe you would too but is it the sort of thing thats going to be dissuaded under the guidelines?

I think the easiest way to pick the sponsored people is that there is never any negatives at all in the reviews they write! In additon they dont suggest you demo / try other peoples brands etc.
I also believe that a 70KG person demoing and writing a review on a longer sup will have a very different opinion to a 105kg person demoing the same board horses for courses!
You dont need to use too much nouse to see what is what!
My philosopy is simple got something to say or question about a service or a product take it up with the company!
Laurie, I do think anyone on the site should be able to write about good customer service as it is such a rare commodity. I would never have dealt with some of the companies I have without the recomendations from this site. I live in Vicco how would I have know about Wind Surf and Snow for example!
I recently asked some questions about the GoPro Camera on this site as I am having major issues with it in cold conditions. No one seems to want to talk about it! How else would other breezers know there is an issue! Its a great camera but it has limitations that people need to know about!
I guess there is a fine line!
