Piros said...Yes you're right Jodie I stand corrected on that , I should have said "Australia has been supping at a Commercial level for one to two years."
I'm not whining about local manuafacturers at all , I'm not at a stage yet where I can order a custom Sup board simply because I don't know what I really need , as soon as I get to that stage I will. Which will be in 2009.
Thats why I'm so infulenced by whats off the rack because of reading reviews and riding demo's.Theres no doubt that the more local boards that get out there the more that will be sold but very few local boys will build and hold stock Sups.
Who knows maybe soon the O.S manufacturers will be copying Aussie designs.

Well after only 6 months of supping im happy to say im at a stage to know what I really want, I want it to float me and paddle well , I want It to catch waves easy, I dont want It to nose dive on steep take offs, I want it to hold speed and pump & drive down the line, I want It to gain speed out of turns, I want it to hold a rail in sucky waves , and I want It to be light enough and easy to carry into hard to get to surf spots, these are just a few requirements
