Looks like you're a fair way back on the board Woody, for most of that video you can see the handle. Was this just because you were surfing most of the time and didn't feel the need to get the nose down and forward onto the next runner. or was it unstable if you moved forward?

Yeah pretty steep bumps and I didn't need to step forward to take off but I was fighting to keep the nose from piercing the wave in front so that's why I was staying a long way back. I found the board pretty stable, but in those conditions, it was hard work to link any runners as I needed to trim the board so much just to avoid turning it into a submarine.

Overall, I think the Race is a better downwind board than the Race BOP, but others might disagree.
