Here is a range of wooden paddles (pictured in production). I throw it open to breezers to discuss the origin of these paddle shapes to see what we can come up with. As you can see there are a variety of influences

We could also come up with the names too, I reckon there is a “Gladiator “ over in the far right side. They will be available thru Suplove and The Stand up Paddle Centre the new store at Jamieson Park, Narrabeen lake.

I see them being used for paddling, prizes, gifts and of course on the wall of the pool room!! I will offer heavy discounts to club’s and charities for prizes.

Yes Scotty I agree that one does look good. All have "T" style handle. There is a hybrid too, a carbon shaft with wood ergo handle and wood blade.

If you want a test, I am looking for a downwind paddle. Send me a message if you need a tester, I will buy one.

They look awesome - how much to ship to the UK?
That is assuming you use a courier other than the one who moves BPs boards

Ha Ha Hey Sepirott(unusual name?)

I rekon you have hit the bullseye there, that is an old old shape. Wonder what country it is from? You get naming rights on "The Arrow" well done.

They will be at the "Mambo" guys so you can get your hands on them.

Oh and the T grips are more like in the kialoa style ezcept not quite so ergo(picture coming)

I reckon they're straight off the ship from China. No, not having a dig - they look great!!

They look pretty similar to an email I got from a Chinese Sports Factory wanting to sell them!

They were asking just over $200 USD each.

Great questions and yes of course they are made offshore. Its bigger than that tho.

The kahikatea is from Russia; black walnut and teak are from Southeast Asia; Autumn Wood, Basswood are from China .They are all sustainably grown.

Our sport is international. Think Sup at the Olympics? in xxxxxx years!!!

What I am curious about is the history of Paddle.

Guess which paddle design is from South Amarica?

Have just completed the first week of testing. The paddles have a nice weight and balance and an even flex.

Best of all they feel great in the hands.

So far so good.

Am sending one to ScottyMac for further seabreeze testing

Let us know what you think Scotty.. I know you love wood paddles..

btw.. I like the look of the second T grip handle (W-T01).. cos it looks just like the Kialoa one..

How wide is the narrowest blade?.. just wondering..
