Surfed 3s and pops today at Waikiki, had the most insane thing, saw what I thought was a turtle surface and it turned out to be a bloody seal.WTF but apparently there called "monk seals"and it's been in the local paper. There are a heap of sea urchins, fun little wave, will post a photo of how crowded places like canoes gets.
Another surf at 3s small offshore, waiting for the hurricane to hit.$500 a night and drinking coffee out f paper cups as they don't supply ceramic.
Missing number one and number two paddlers.
The back markers are making moves to take over....
If you can't make the training camps you'll lose your spot....
Manly was lumpy and bumpy this morning with a bit of size. Decided to leave the small board on the roof and take out my trusted 12' Venom. It did the job and a few waves were slayed....
Looks like a great spot DAVE .
i was surfing 1 foot monsters on my 11.6 glide today ..I forgot the amount of foot work required in surfing a flat water board ,definailty is a skill ..and when the nose goes under your a gonna .. Fell in a fair bit ,but had a ball .
i actually thought the water had warmed up .
Morning flat water up the inlet for coffee and bacon and egg rolls.
Breeze came up, lunch time electric skate.

Hey Tardy,
Yep it was hard to steer and with no nose rocker it dug in a few times, tried moving back further on other waves/ripples with mixed success. It's a funny wave on the river from the sand bar at the river mouth and comes in a real curve and then changes direction as it hits another sand bar.

Windsurf as the water returned.
Successful day 2.
Got the Style out for the early. Small but still got heaps of waves with the tide, warm water and came home a grinning like a rat with a gold tooth!
Great SUP times in the Top End!!
Cruising down the coast, now having a drink in Metung Pub and hope there is no wind in the morning so I can make the most of this!
OC1 and SUP to the caf? for breakfast.
Not as severe headwind as yesterday for the return.
Lunch, beers, time to surf.
Small surf but almost too choppy to stand.
Selected a more appropriate craft.
Day 3 brilliant.
Finally got some waves at town beach today. Surf has been suddenly gigantic.
Makorori has been looking like this. Even the local Jimmy Lewis rep tow ball wasn't going out (or even looking probably lol)
