How long till we see a graph of Melbourne like that. It's been windy here for months now?

Stupid strong East winds for the next week with not a hint of the little red arrows.

Probably only good for a 30km downwinder Mt Eliza to St Leonards on Friday - but I can't see anyone getting excited about wanting to do that.

Although the 6km StKilda to Williamstown does look a little more tempting though. Hang on a min - anyone interested in doing that?

I'm up for Friday as long as we get some good wind.

Doesn't take long on a windsurfer but I have noticed some traffic - qued up container ships hammer through here and I suspect a few loonies on SUPs might not show on the radar! That aside, if its early arvo I'm in.

What about Seaford to Geelong? Not necessarily suggesting it for tomorrow but may be interested in the right wind.
Do conditions on Corio bay generally mirror those of Port Phillip?

Friday is looking good for a paddle from Pt Ormond (Elwood) across to Williamstown or Altona.

I've done it may times windsurfing and it's a pretty long way..but I reckon 1-2 hours tops paddling with an East wind.

The whole car shuffle thing is a bit of a pain tho getting across the Westgate bridge and back before we even start.

Forecast for Friday
Winds: Easterly 15 to 20 knots tending east to southeasterly 20 to 25 knots
during the afternoon and locally reaching 30 knots in the south. Seas: Up to 1
metre increasing to 1.5 metres around midday and reaching 2 metres in the south.

There are 3 scheduled arrivals and 7 departures between 13:30 and 18:00 tomorrow (Friday). But none of those are between 15:00 and 16:30
