It's an unfortunate choice of words really. In many sports, a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct is only applied for really poor behaviour. In AFL, you can belt an opponent, and sure you will be suspended, but it won't carry the stigma of unsportsmanlike conduct. For the sake of Kai's reputation, it might be nice if the race director explains what he did wrong. No doubt it was something relatively minor in amongst all the carnage of a buoy turn.
