The past 4 days have been the best I have ever seen in Sydney. Forecasts have temps above 20 degrees for next few days with Thursday to be 24 degrees. A few pics later in week on the way.

Classic day today
Sun shining, wind offshore, swell minimal.
Paddled from the local back beach towards Phillsway which is often a swell magnet. Passed a load of the short board and long board crew wandering back along the beach all of them singing the no swell blues. Paddled as far as a boiler, the remenants of a long gone shipwreck, that lays in the sand midway between the two towns. Crystal clear water, schools of salmon, feeding rays and diving cormorants, the journey was a trip. And low and behold, perfect knee high peeling lefts. The sort of waves that no one but a Stand Up would even contemplate. One and a half hours later the return paddle with the incoming tide was a magic carpet ride, wish I had been wearing sunnies, it was more like flying than paddleing, the water was that clear. And did I mention, I was wearing a springsuit!
Cheers

Have never worn booties, just dont feel right. Wearing the springy was kinda incentive not to fall in which worked a treat.......until I fell in. At that point my nuts went north so quick my tonsils were looking for some elbow room!
