Mate what tankman is saying is the UFO has a good rocker and in his opinion you need to fit a slightly longer rear fin,I've only used 7 inch rears in my 903 ufo's and they work a treat

Now on fin size the McT 7 inch Wizz fins are 7 1/2 because Wizz is too lazy the add the 1/2 when he writes on the fin base.

Correct mate,the blue one has been hanging around for a while now,its an outstanding board in the fresh.

Yep I'm going with the green one this time is looked amazing once again in the fresh.

The other thing I did different was light glass 6/4 which is standard for a UFO all my others have been 6/6 so the new one will be slightly heavier than my current which will add to now flow.

What time are you landing and how long is the stop over,could meet for a coffee at the airport maybe if times works.

I hear you mate but I hate longboards with the GT from nose to tail,the bands are for a traditional look,Flames are for hotrods,wild stuff is for the younger folk.

Jeepers. Just read this thread - I stay off line for a few days as I have had family over and been here there and everywhere and even had to fit some time in at the office. So I finally read this interesting sounding thread title (well I read the quiver one first) and I can not really believe what I was reading.

I am in shock.

We used to always have a saying re the ladies when we were younger - "try before you buy" - but I can not think how this maybe be used to your benefit when ordering a so called custom. Hope yr next board goes well and the changeover does not cost you too much Mac. My previous custom annoyed the hell out of me. After 5 surfs I had to sell it as it did not have enough volume in it for me. I was shattered as the thing went off like a box of plastic explosives - it was just a biiarch to paddle and needed decent waves for me to enjoy.

My thoughts are with you on this sad dark day in your life. Hope you are feeeling bettter though as it could be cold, miserable and raining like a good summer in the UK.

Ordering boards can be tricky.

When I ordered the channel bottom Allan asked me about rails, all I said was that I wanted a bit of volume in the for stability.
He did a great job and got the rails as low as possible with out sacrificing rail volume buy using a very flat deck. All hand shaped no machine other than a planer
