Just logged in after starting this...phew what a circus

Ive actually got two locally made boards one from Newies master Sam Egan and the other a Byron made McT.

I wanted to get a dedicated old school 10' noserider 50/50 rails, single fin etc without paying a lot of money as it wont be a every day ride, hence my inquiry about something that may fit the bill.

Still like to get an appraisal of the quality of the build and shape if anyone is able.

Nothing from me. Only thing I can say is depending on how soon you want it ECS are a good alternative All my boards have been fantastic!

Good on you Tom. I say you are a fine ambassador for your sponsor's brand and having seen your surf vid and pics, they were smart to sign you up. Absolute ripper of a board, got one of the fibre flex ones and it is so light. I can jam the board into any part of the wave I like, even with no speed. Ridden it in 1 ft waves up to about 5 foot barrels. A bit skatey on the bigger waves, a tad wide in the tail for that, the hammer is a good alternative there, I have a 6'2 in that. But, back to the bulldog, I have a 5'4 and it is real smooth on turns although it really does throw around. Been trying a few airs on it too lately and have almost landed a few air reverses. A really fast and fun board, great all round board. As they describe it, it is to be ridden %90 of the time.

The guy that runs it, Ryan, said that it is his favourite board of them all and keeps coming back to it.

Really good board at about 3-4 feet. Do consider I am only 65kg though and 3-4 feet is my optimal size.

Big fins are good in it too if you go really short.

I have never seen one of these boards in person. The shapes look ok and the price looks amazing. I even like most of the artwork. Can you really go wrong with something at that price? Although the old saying if it looks too good too be true it usually is - but essentially I am sure you could ride it and if you did not like a British pack backer or similar would like the look of it and you could probably move it on at little cost. On the otherhand it might just be the board of your dreams I think it would be nice to look at one in real life before departing with the hard earned to check it out but sometimes this is not possible. If I was on the Goldie I would stop by and check it one out for ya.
